This soothing Swedish massage uses a yogic approach to enhance the integration of body, mind and spirit. Guided breath awareness and a meditative focus on physical sensation stimulate energy to flow throughout the body and release. Profoundly relaxing!
Deep Tissue/Therapeutic Massage
This Deep Tissue massage helps to release chronic muscle tension, reduce inflammation and soften scar tissue. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). It will likely be very intense, but can have profound results. Available for 30 minute sessions ($40) or in combination with Relaxation massage.
Thai Massage
Think of it as no-effort yoga. A soothing experience of rhythmic pressure along energy pathways and points, combined with a flowing sequence of gentle, yoga-based stretches. Each session is designed to meet your individual needs and abilities.

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a muscle stretching and strengthening technique that allows for a gradual, gentle stretch of the specific muscles to maximize its length, flexibility and power. Also known as the Mattes Method, AIS was developed some 40 years ago by Aaron Mattes, a Florida kinesiologist. This technique restores the greatest level of function to the muscles, tendons, vertebrae, ligaments, and joints. One of its most important benefits is that AIS promotes stronger superficial and deep muscle fascial structures, which can create greater overall power through increased flexibility and strength.
AIS has been described, as "assisted therapeutic stretching," since the trained practitioner coaches the patient to more effectively and gently stretch a muscle that he or she may have thought was inflexible. Once learned, these stretching skills can be used by the patient to stretch daily at home.
